The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves.
~Carl Jung
Jung had it right. The creation of art comes not from a want, but a need. A creative soul needs to create not for recognition or profit (not that most of us would complain about that last one), but because it is the language of our soul. We have to speak to the world, but you see our thoughts in our paintings, and hear them in our music.
I’ve been an artist for longer than I can remember, and I’ve always been better at showing what I feel instead of saying it. So, my deviant page displays that better than I ever can.
Enjoy, comment if you like something, and buy a print if you really like it. Like I said above, most of us, me included, don’t mind people appreciating our art with a few dollars!
